A água é um direito humano, portanto, as Nações Unidas aprovaram no ano passado. Mas a realidade em algumas regiões do mundo é muito diferente. A fundção “Água é direito humano” foi fundada pelo alemão pop / soul singer Rolf Stahlhofen: o ex-co-líder da banda ” Söhne Mannheims “. Agora levando sua própria banda, Rolf levantou milhões de dólares para projetos relacionados com a água humanitárias ao redor do mundo. The Water is Right Foundation was founded by German pop/soul Singer Rolf Stahlhofen: former co-lead of double platinum pop/soul band Söhne Mannheims. Now leading his own band, Rolf has raised millions of dollars for water related humanitarian projects around the world. For his efforts he was named UN-HABITAT Messenger of Truth for Water, upon which he established the Foundation to further his work on water issues:
Purpose of the Foundation
to provide innovative water treatment plants for communities without accessible clean water;
to create jobs while making communities water self-sufficient and decent sanitation a reality for all;
to promote water and sanitation as a human right through cultural events with renowned artists;
to give communities the tools to demand clean water and sanitation from local water authorities.
